How do I add a friend?
Tap “add a friend,” enter their 8-character pairing code, and send the request. The private channel appears after they accept it.
Can somebody talk before I accept?
No. A pairing code can send a request, but it cannot open your audio channel.
Why can’t my friend hear me?
Check microphone permission, your network connection, and whether the friend is muted or using Do Not Disturb. Release and hold the talk button again after reconnecting.
Does Tap & Talk save conversations?
Tap & Talk is designed for live, ephemeral audio and does not provide a replayable voice history. Read the privacy policy for details.
How do I report or block somebody?
For safety concerns or help removing an unwanted connection, emailkanishk.chores@gmail.com with your pairing code and the relevant account details.
How do I delete my account?
Open the menu on your friends screen and choose “delete account.” The app asks you to confirm before permanently removing your account and associated data. For help, emailkanishk.chores@gmail.com.
